The Process |

|
Let’s walk through
our design process. Step One: On Site Review or Site Map Consultation - This is also available via online virtual meeting. The first step of every custom home is an in depth perspective of the project and where you plan to build. At the site, or using a site plan and/or pictures we review the opportunities and constraints that the site affords to the project. We also review the overall project objectives and how each issue such as wind, sun direction, views, and slope affect them. Step Two: Sketching of sketch plans and elevations. Following our initial meeting, the next step is to put together a preliminary sketch and set of ideas. Working together, the homeowner and design team begin the process of taking the project from a dream to a reality. Step Three: Refining the Design After returning back to the office, we will continue working with the homeowner to further refine the design. New drawings can be e-mailed, faxed, over-nighted, or posted to a client web page for quick response. Step Four: Construction Documents Once the concept designs are approved, construction documents are prepared for the project. Drawings are prepared in the latest in 3D CAD software to assure the highest level of technical accuracy. When combined with the Log or Timber Frame Provider's and General Contractor's standard means and methods, the construction documents create a road map to a successfully completed home. Below you will find useful documents that will allow us to get a better idea of what you want and need in your home. Please fill out the Project Specifications/Design Criteria and either fax this back to us at 615-469-3500 or email Chris@CompleteBlueprints.com In addition to the forms below please include a simple or detailed sketch of what you have in mind. These DO NOT have to be filled out in full, but a more completely filled out form generally results in a faster process all around. |
